HR Department Team Leader

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the HR department, providing guidance and support to HR staff.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the organization's objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition processes to ensure the selection of qualified candidates.
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff on HR-related matters
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and address HR-related challenges

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Has led an HR team of over 5 staff, and worked in an organization of over 250 staff.
  • Strong knowlwdge of Tanzania employment laws and requlations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate leadership and decisson-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced enviroment.
  • Demonstrated technology savviness.
