Responsibilities

  • To build and direct retail sales team and provide leadership towards achievements of budgeted targets for productivity and growth in line with company strategy for individual life business.
  • To supervise and guide the Sales Team on Individual Life Bancassurance sales processes and ensure sales procedures and policies are complied with by the sales team.
  • To supervise Human Resources including hiring, terminating, performance evaluation, work and resources allocation and problem solvin.
  • To supervise retail sales activities of retail sales team under your control; to delegate duties and responsibilities to supporting managers.
  • To maintain contacts and relations with key people in the market or banks.
  • To ensure New Business quality compliance.
  • To generate revenue income (API)and grow retail file size in line with ATS budget
  • To identify potential and establish new partnerships; to identify new business opportunities and exploit them.
  • To ensure that after-sale customer service rendered to clients is of a satisfactory standard
  • To develop goals and objectives for the retail sales team by recommending, implementing, and administering methods and procedures to smooth operations.
  • To ensure professional business communication between the company, banks, and agents.
  • To forecast sales against inceptions for the purpose of budgets.
  • To monitor performance management of the retail sales team.
  • To ensure that new business processes are adhered to and quality after sale customer service rendered to clients.
  • To provide timely feedback to General Manager IL Distribution regarding retail sales performance on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or any other related field.
  • Three to five years of sales experience.

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Meeting bancassurance sales performance targets
  • Support of retail sales team; efficient Retail sales activity management and performance management
  • Maintain good relationship with the existing bank partners and pay points.
  • Allocation of resources (financial and non- financial) among the bancassurance teams and ensure economical expending.
  • Timely reports to the gm il distribution.
